#disability#i would be dead if I were not married#and I HATE that with the force of a thousand suns#not my hubby he is a fuckin saint who cares for me and reassures me that I'm Not Bad for enjoying life when I feel guilty#but there's a background ick to it#cause when I first rode a wheelchair accessable bus I saw my first visibly disabled person#and asked my mom... basically if they were okay?#and ma hemmed and hawed and then sympathized... with the parents of the kid#and how hard they must have it#and how horrible it must be to have a child and find They Will Burden You Forever#and at the time I was 11 and sorta just nodded along cause I didn't know better#and now I'm in my 30's and too exhausted to function without assistance because of chronic pain and five other factors#and trying to Justify My Existance to my parents once a week when they call on Sunday... the anxiety is the worst man
